‘American Pickers’ star Mike Wolfe making major career move
“American Pickers” fans got some big-time career news from the show’s main star, Mike Wolfe, on Thursday.
And … well, this is a bit different.
No, Wolfe is not leaving the show. He is the show after all. But he is making a major career move.
“So excited that I got to have a part in The Day of Reckoning movie that will be released exclusively in Theaters nationwide on March 28th!” he wrote on Instagram along with a trailer for the film. “The trailer just hit today at noon so click the link to check it out.”
Wolfe tagged several of the folks that he said were in the movie including country music singer Trace Adkins, rapper Yelawolf and Billy Zane.
“A reckoning built on bullets,” he added. “A story too intense for your living room. Witness it in theaters only.”
It appears the movie centers around bikes, which Wolfe is well-known to appreciate. Judging by the responses, fans are excited to see him get his film acting opportunity.
“Can’t wait to see what bike you’ll be riding!” one person responded. “Who would’ve thought that a little show would lead to such big things!! Congrats! I’m sure Frank is looking down and getting a kick out of it.”
