American Pickers star Danielle Colby thanks Mike Wolfe after touching donation
American Pickers star Danielle Colby has expressed gratitude to show host Mike Wolfe for donating a historic piece of Americana to her.
Colby, who is also a burlesque dancer and OnlyFans model, has been collecting rare pieces of burlesque and striptease history for her museum.
This week, she shared a post on Instagram, revealing that Wolfe gifted her a valuable and rare burlesque poster.
“Gifts that pique my curiosity and allow my obsessive tendencies to run amok with exhaustive research are my absolute favorite!” Colby wrote on Instagram.
“I’m so excited to hang this rare piece of Burly history in my Stripping History Museum,” she added.
The poster, titled This Season’s Maddest Merriest Musical Comedy, was originally created for racier venues.
Colby speculated that the artwork was altered to comply with blue laws, which restrict certain activities, particularly on Sundays.
“My guess is that this poster went against the blue law in whatever theater it found itself in,” Colby explained.
“The artist had to go back in and pencil in bikini tops and G-strings where they did not exist before.”
In her post, Colby reflected on her own history with photography.

“It’s the exact same technique that my grandparents used in their photography studio.”
