“American Pickers” Seeks Unique Antique Collections in Wyoming

History's 'American Pickers' is coming to North Carolina in search of antiques

Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team are returning to Wyoming with their unscripted cable television show; American Pickers. According to information obtained from the Wyoming Office of Tourism, the American Pickers crew are planning to film episodes of the series throughout the region in July 2017.

American Pickers, on the cable History network, is a series that explores the world of antique ‘picking.’ The hit show follows Mike and Frank, two “pickers,” as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. The production team are seeking sizeable, unique collections, and learn the interesting stories behind them.

According to a statement from production officials on the show, “Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the Pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about
America’s past along the way.”
