American Pickers' Mike Wolfe reopens Nashville store with unexpected move after brief closure
American Pickers star Mike Wolfe has refilled his Nashville location of Antique Archaeology, which he shuttered earlier this year, with a plethora of new items.
American Pickers star Mike Wolfe is reportedly restocking his Nashville antiques store with merchandise after a temporary closure. The History Channel show has seen a drop in ratings and criticism for being “fake,” while Wolfe momentarily closed his antiques stores to concentrate on filming a new season and renovating a winery.
Despite the turmoil surrounding the closures, Wolfe seems set to reopen the shops, having replenished them with expensive collectibles for those ready to spend big. This news breaks as the show confirms it will be heading to South Carolina for its upcoming season.
Wolfe, nevertheless, is dedicated to his enterprises in Tennessee, as reported by the U. S.Sun. The Nashville branch of Antique Archaeology has been stocked with a variety of new items, including a $3,500 antique coin horse ride and a $3,000 stock market machine cabinet.
Other moderately priced pieces comprise a $1,500 cast iron water fountain, a $1,200 harmonica display case, an industrial cabinet for $995, a $950 Cleveland Euro Mod bike, an $850 large stork statue, and a detective camera at $700.
Among the more affordable items on offer are a red HUSS sign and Jerry Lee Lewis jacket, both tagged at $595, a Coca-Cola diner clock for $300, a dollhouse for $195 and a birdhouse for $175. The store’s projected annual sales in 2023 were approximately $903,000.
Despite this success, Wolfe left many puzzled when he temporarily closed the shop in 2024. Reports suggest that the closure was due to construction problems, but the property has since reopened to the public.
