‘American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe Announces Major Career News: ‘Here We Go Again’
American Pickers star Mike Wolfe just shared a major career update that’s sure to thrill history buffs.
On March 5, Cineflix Productions announced via Instagram a new History Channel show starring Wolfe.
“Here we go again,” Wolfe wrote in his Instagram Stories, including a link to the post. “Excited about this new series for @history.”
“I’ve been on the road filming American Pickers for over a decade, tracking down hidden gems in the most unexpected places and connecting with fascinating people who are preserving history,” Wolfe, 60, said in a news release from The History Channel.
“I’m looking forward to embarking on a new adventure, while continuing my lifelong passion of picking with this series,” he continued. “Viewers are in for a ride through the greatest finds of all time.”
In November, Wolfe confirmed Season 27 of American Pickers was on its way.
“Morning porch vibes from the great state of Tennessee,” he wrote on Instagram. “Enjoying some much needed down time before we start shooting a new season of @americanpickers.”
American Pickers premiered in 2010, starring Wolfe, Frank Fritz and Danielle Colby. Fritz left the show—with his last episode airing in 2020—before he died at age 60 in September 2024. It’s unclear whether Wolfe’s new series will affect the long-running show.
As of writing, a premiere date for History’s Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe has not been announced.
