'American Pickers' Fans Beg Mike Wolfe for a Second TV Show After He Reveals 'Incredible' Project
They say he’s a ‘man who puts his money where his mouth is.’
Fans are begging Mike Wolfe to return to television with a brand new series after seeing his latest, off-air project.
The beloved host of American Pickers is working on a major restoration in Columbia, Tenn., fixing up the tower of an 1873 Italianate—meaning a structure that is of Italian character.
In a pair of new photos uploaded to Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 2, Wolfe showed off some of the construction work on the brick structure, the windows on which just received a set of brand-new shutters.
“The tower and the porch were missing from this beautiful structure but we’re fortunate to be working from some very detailed photos,” he explained, thanking the “pretty next level craftsman’s [sic]” for helping him out.
“I’ve spent the past 30 years of my life working on old buildings and houses, each one teaches me something different,” he added. “When they speak, I listen and when I’m in them I feel cloaked in their presence.”
Fans were in awe of the beautiful building, with one comment reading, “Wow 🤩 gorgeous,” and others suggesting he tell his crew “they’re doing a fabulous job.”
“Looks fantastic great workmanship 👍,” another complimented.
Others suggested future projects for the reality star, with one requesting he write a book to “document all of [his] amazing projects! 😊💜😊.”
“We need a building restoration show for you on HGTV 👏,” someone else suggested, while another simply replied, “I agree.”
Some even offered up other buildings in need of his assistance, with one comment reading, “There’s an old church off the square in Lewisburg TN that someone started restoring then stopped. Too bad you can’t restore it!”
“A man who puts his money where his mouth is,” another follower wrote gratefully. “You do Amazing restorations. Thank you for@preserving history.”
“That house is lucky to have you,” someone else affirmed. “Incredible.”
