Late 'American Pickers' Star Frank Fritz's Father Says His Son's Will Is 'Fake'

Speaking with The U.S. Sun for an article that was published on Feb. 25, Bill claimed that his son’s will is actually “a fake.” Frank died at age 60 on Sept. 30, 2024. His cause of death was determined to be a stroke, according to a death certificate that was later reviewed by TMZ.
“He did not have a will. He did not sign it,” Bill told The U.S. Sun. “I am his only loved one. I am his only survivor. None of them are related to him. I am the only relation he has.”
Bill then alleged that the other individuals who have become involved in the legal battle over the document “are trying to get money.”
“They are nothing but people who worked for him,” said Bill, who added that he was “close” with his son and is now “requesting the entire estate.” He officially challenged his late son’s will this month, according to The Des Moines Register.
Though the relevant legal documents have not been made available to the public, the Iowa newspaper reported that Frank’s estate was estimated to be worth about $6 million.
An unnamed source with knowledge about the legal battle has alleged that Bill “had very little to do” with the reality TV star, according to The U.S. Sun. The source, who described the will as a “valid” document for which Frank “made all of the decisions,” also alleged that Bill “only came to see Frank once when he suffered the stroke,” seemingly referring to an earlier medical emergency that hospitalized Frank back in 2022.
