Just as she said, Danielle Colby’s Instagram account disappeared shortly after a pointed message seemingly aimed at President Donald Trump.
The day after the president’s inauguration, the American Pickers star shared an urgent PSA with her fans about an “interesting opportunity.” Since her message, her account has been deleted. Fans started to notice once Mike Wolfe shared a photo of Colby with Dolly Parton but didn’t tag his co-star.
The reality star shared the video just a week ago. During the clip, she appeared on a balcony during a windy day.
After introducing herself, Colby went on to share a “few words of encouragement.”
She started: “First of all, should this page disappear, which it could, soon… go to @daniellecolbywashere. I’ll also link up to that one too. Um, otherwise, you can follow my Patreon.”
“Don’t be down, don’t be discouraged,” Colby added. “This is what all of our great punk rock artists and punk rock songs prepared us for. This is the time, this is the day, this is the place. It is now, it is today.”
“So, you know, this is an interesting opportunity for us to create some of the most outrageous art that we possibly can,” she continued.
Colby told her fans that “this is a time for us to make statements” and “band together” for our “friends and family who need it the most.”
She’s hoping the public keeps boundaries with their loved ones so the relationships won’t perish because of “weird little divisions.”
The reality star urged: “Protect your mental health. If there are people within your stratosphere that are difficult or are toxic for you, stay away, man…Those people genuinely hate themselves and that’s why they do what they do.”
Colby believes everyone needs to “get out of our own heads” and “get a community going again.”
