American Pickers fans are worried that Danielle Colby could be leaving the show after many hints. Fans forget that the “Queen of Rust” is also a podcast host and burlesque dancer
American Pickers fans are worried about the future of the show.
American Pickers made its debut on January 18, 2010 and is now on its 26th season.
The show follows antique and collectible pickers Mike Wolfe and his team as they travels around the country to buy items for resale, for clients or for personal collections.
Frank Fritz was one of the main faces on the show, but he died at the age of 60 in October.
Danielle Colby also works alongside Mike on the show and now is one of the main faces on the show. She was a close friend of Mike’s for a decade before the show was developed.
Mike then asked Danielle to work at the office of the shop Antique Archaeology before she joined him on the road on the show.
Rumors have circulated that the “Queen of Rust” could potentially be leaving the antique show.
This comes after social media followers noticed Danielle’s Instagram Stories in recent months that led to the premiere of season 26.
She would post about other obligations, goals and her long-awaited wedding, but nothing about the show.
Danielle is good friends with Mike Wolfe
One of her posts specifically made fans believe that she could be departing.
She shared a post by balloon motivational influencer, Michael James Schneider and referred to a “sinking ship,” which fans initially believed was in regards to American Pickers.
She has also been very busy with her podcast Road Dog Diaries, and being a burlesque performer.
Some seem to forget that Danielle dealt with some health issues in the last few years, including a uterine fibroid growth diagnosis and a tumor on her face.
Last summer, she was the target of an online hoax that claimed she had died.
She responded with a sense of humor, quoting Mark Twain: “The report of my death was an exaggeration.”
Fans are hopeful that she is very much involved with the show since her Instagram handle indicates that she is still part of the show.
Her bio is also still showing on the American Pickers website website.
Things look promising especially after Mike posted a birthday post to his dear friend.
The adorable Instagram post features a picture of the two together with the caption: “Happy Birthday You Rascal I love you so much.
Here’s to many more miles together” with the hashtags #foreveryoung and #Friendsforlife.
