American Pickers star Danielle Colby turns to Mike Wolfe after 'heartbreaking' news
As Danielle Colby continues to cope with difficult family times, the American Pickers star has shared a piece of advice she got from her co-star Mike Wolfe.
Danielle Colby is leaning on her American Pickers co-stars for help during troubling times.
The History Channel star recently shared that she unfortunately had to cancel an upcoming burlesque show over one of her family members dealing with serious health issues. The unforeseen event has also a pause on her new podcast that she has been working on for the last 14 years.
When the Only Fans model took to Instagram to share the news that left her “heartbroken,” she didn’t go into “too much detail because it’s not my health I’m speaking of.”
While she assured her fans she’s “ok” and “fine,” she said she needs to focus on her family right now.
She declared: “For the foreseeable future, I will not be traveling for performances, I’ll only be traveling for American Pickers and, outside of that, being here for my family.”
Later that week, Colby took to the platform with an update on how she’s doing in her “cocoon state.”
She said her “happy place” is currently her greenhouse when she goes “sometimes when I’m deep in my feelings.”
“I don’t know much about plants but have had the privilege of making time to explore growing some simple plants,” she admitted.
Colby is trying to be intentional with noticing the little things as a “sense of accomplishment” that keeps her going.
The television personality shared that she’s still been in contact with her American Pickers co-stars, specifically Mike Wolfe, who offered her some advice on what she should be doing with her extra free time.
