AMERICAN Pickers star Mike Wolfe has revealed the show’s renewal for season 27 – despite a recent ratings drop.

The show’s longtime star Mike Wolfe revealed the news via Instagram

Former co-host, Frank Fritz, passed away in September aged 60

Although season 26 premiered just last month, Mike has shared American Pickers will be returning for another outing.

This follows the show’s ratings dropping to the lowest for season 26 so far.

Mike wrote on Instagram: “Morning porch vibes from the great state of Tennessee.

“Enjoying some much needed down time before we start shooting a new season of @americanpickers.

“It was 2004 when I picked up a camera and started filming Frank and my Two Lane adventures.

“Now almost 500 episodes in, my heart is humbled and grateful that you all still tune in to see America and its great people thru our lens.”

He added: “Just like yours the family that we have created has been thru so much together.

“Beauty and some sadness around our table. But we remain focused on sharing History and how it connects us all.”

It comes as the show’s former longtime co-host, Frank Fritz, died in September at just 60.

Frank last appeared on the show in March 2020 and had suffered a stroke in 2022.

Mike penned a lengthy tribute, which read in part: “It’s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night.

“I’ve know Frank for more then half my life and what you’ve seen on TV has always been what I have seen, a dreamer who was just as sensitive as he was funny.

“The same off camera as he was on, Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.”

Robbie Wolfe, who replaced Frank on American Pickers, shared: “It’s with a heavy heart I’m sad to say my friend Frank Fritz has passed away last night.

“You all knew him from TV. But I knew him from traveling, fishing and family.

“He was the godfather to my twin girls. His smile was contagious and his laughter will be missed.

“Most of all just time sitting in a fishing boat talking about life. I know you’re in a better place…

“Love you buddy hope you catch the big one until we see each other in heaven hold the boat steady.”
