Despite Mike Wolfe’s recent closure of his antique stores, fans can rest assured that this does not signal the end for American Pickers.

The popular History Channel series is gearing up to film its next season early in the coming year.

Cineflix, the media company co-producing the 26-season show, issued a press release last week announcing a search for new “pickers” to film in North Carolina.

American Pickers is a documentary series featuring Mike and a co-host as they traverse the United States, visiting various antique collections and purchasing, or “picking,” different antiques.

These items are either kept for their personal collection or resold for profit. According to the release, those interested in appearing on the show or who know someone suitable should send a name, phone number, location, and collection photos to [email protected] or call 646-493-2184.undefined

It was noted that stores, malls, flea markets, museums, or any public venues were not eligible for the show.

Recently, Mike had to temporarily close his storefront, Antique Archeology, which has locations in Le Claire, Iowa and Nashville, Tennessee.

The sudden closure of the latter on November 26 left fans both confused and shocked.
